Control of Congress is up for grabs in this year’s midterm elections. Republicans currently hold a thin edge in both the House and Senate, but historically midterms are difficult for the sitting president’s party. On top of that, Americans say they’re concerned about gas and groceries costing a whole lot more, leading President Trump’s approval ratings to take a hit and to Republican concern their candidates will also take a hit at the polls.
