After discovering his local recycling program didn’t accept certain types of popular candy containers, he rallied neighbors and grocery stores to keep the plastic tubs out of the landfill. The pint-sized eco-warrior nicknamed “Sweet Tub Teddy” set out to collect 5 thousand of them – but ended up gathering more than 11 thousand which are being turned into furniture – including a bench for his school.
